Ford Bronco Remote Start System Features:
- Activate the system by pressing your Ford's keyless entry remote's lock button 3 times: The distance at which you will be able to activate the remote starter will be the same distance that you can remotely lock and unlock your vehicle's doors now (unless you upgrade).
- 15-Minute Remote Start Run Time: The engine will shut down automatically after 15 minutes.
- Active Remote Shut-Down: You can cancel the remote starter sooner the same way you activated it.
- Active Key Takeover: Your keyless entry remotes will still remain working with the engine running by the remote starter, AND the remote starter will not shut down when the driver's door is opened, so you won't have to restart the vehicle normally every time after you remote start it.
- Automatically engages the vehicle's climate controls based on prior settings.
- Activates OEM autolights while running.
- Ford Dash Cluster Display Control: Set what options your vehicle has that the remote starter system can activate through your vehicle's settings display, like climate control, heated seats, heated steering wheel, less run time, and disable/enable remote start activation. Options depend on the vehicle's trim level. Equivalent to Ford OEM remote starter systems.
Remote Start Security Features:
- Brake Pedal Monitoring for Security: The vehicle's steering column remains locked while running, and if the vehicle's brake pedal is stepped on without a smart key in the vehicle, the remote starter will immediately shut down.
- Fail-Safe Design: In the unlikely event of a component failure, the system cannot prevent you from starting your vehicle normally with a key.
Ford's Remote Start Safety Features:
- Open Hood Monitoring for Safety: The remote starter cannot be activated when the vehicle's hood is open and will shut down immediately if the hood is opened while the vehicle is running by the remote starter.
- Same Safety and Operating Restrictions as Ford's Factory-Installed Remote Starters: The system will detect any current or stored fault codes, which will prevent the remote starter from activating. If the hood is open, the transmission is not in park, the vehicle's battery voltage is too low, the low fuel indicator is on, the check engine light is on, or any stored DTC codes (no visual lights on the dash) will prevent the system from activating (consult your Ford vehicle's owners/operators manual for complete information pertaining to your specific vehicle).
- Time-Sensitive Key Takeover: On most Ford vehicles, it will only allow key takeover to be performed within an allotted amount of time after entering the vehicle. This time span can range from 45 seconds to 4 minutes before the engine will shut down if the key takeover procedure has not been performed. i.e., enter and turn your vehicle's ignition on. See "key takeover" information above.
Do-It-Yourself Remote Starter Installation Has Never Been Easier:
- Just 1 T-Harness & 2 T-Tap Connections Installation: No wire cutting or splicing. One T-harness connection to the vehicle's OBD2 diagnostic connector and two T-tap connections behind the driver's side left kick panel is all thats required to install this system into a 2021 through 2025 Ford Bronco with automatic transmission (see photos below.)
- No OBD2 Diagnostic Plug Blocking: This system utilizes a Y-connector, keeping your vehicle's OBD2 port accessible for any diagnostic service. No need to unplug the remote starter system every time you need to use the vehicle's OBD2 port. You just remove the vehicle's OBD2 plug and plug it into the T-harness, then replace the plug with the identical OBD2 connector from the Y-harness.
- System activation is done simply by turning the vehicle's ignition ON, watch for the green LED to turn OFF, and then turn the ignition OFF, DONE!
- No key programming procedures, no additional parts, no computers, or special dealer programmers involved.
- Step-by-Step Illustrated Installation Instructions with YouTube Demo Videos.
